64-66 lower control arm measurement needed

Post by Dwayne »

I'm mocking up the lower control arms in the frame and it's doesn't fit in easily with my new nolathane bushes.

Can someone please measure the internal width of the frame where the lower control arms bolts in. Figure that will tell me which one is out.

It is not unusual to use some persuasion to get the arm in position.
I will someday think of something clever to say.

Just prise them apart until the arm goes in easily. It will only be a few mm at most. When tightened it finds its own center. I do it on every Mustang build (last time on project Patience).
