I so want to, but my sister is arriving from O/S and i have to attend a family day.
The bloke that delivers our gas bottles has a XY ute that he is hoping to break his lower 9s. I think it is bronze? ill have to check my last years pics. Its a great day with a good display of oldies.

Saturday Rick , Motorplex.

Yeah should be a great day. I'm planning to go and make a couple of passes down the track just to see how the old girl goes. Hopefully the ole 289 will crack the 16 second mark! I've got my helmet and have to bolt my harness in so the only thing left to do is to sort out an overflow tank for the radiator.

A plastic drink bottle cable tied somewhere is regarded as sufficient.

Was thinking of getting a new washer bag as mine sprung a leak, and just plugging the radiator overflow to that.

Did a 15.6 at 88.4mph on the first pass with a crappy reaction time so I was thinking I could maybe do a pass in the 14 sec range. Second pass had a reaction time of .37 but couldn't get traction due to 195's I'm running. Did a nice burnout though! Was going to go back for a third but there was a long queue.
May have to go back on a Wednesday and have another crack!
