I'll talk to Gav they are at his place, I know he wants one of them, he is looking for a Torana to build up, Tangarine hatch is what he wants to build. I think they'd be standard bore, one is in bits with the heads off, other is together. Pretty sure there are some spare heads which is what you really want, any 308 block will do.

cheers shaun I managed to get that 304/308 block from NSW for cheap. most guys over here wanted $800 for virgin bore block. If you could find out about the heads that would be great!

All most certain there is some spare virgin VN heads and some normal 308 stuff as well. Long time since we played with holden V8s but there are some left overs for sure. Not sure how many VN 5 speeds, maybe 2 I think, but not sure.

You buy a whole VN V8 for $800 if you are lucky.

picking up a T700 from a mate for cheap that needs a rebuild. the only VN V8 I could find with virgin bores was $1200, while another guy wanted $800 for one that had been bored but wasnt sure to what which is why im happy to take a short block for $600 including freight.
