Just for a laugh guys, regarding turbo placement. See what happens when you put the stock exhaust manifolds on the wrong sides :)

Tada! cheap manifolds to put turbos on, with the turbos in the only spare room in the bay. (if you move the battery)

Bit of a budget tip there :)

Think 351 windsor is about as big as you can squeeze in there mate without fabbing up the front end to accomadate something bigger
Kosa my 66 fastback came with a 351 windsor from a 68 stang i think sitting in the engine bay , not mounted as the manifolds where resting on the towers. When i tried fitting it again with std falcon manifolds that really hug the block , it still hit the towers. "Exhausted" on the other forum has one in his 66 FB and his extractors were custom made and cost something like $1500.

Got a slightly modified 302 injected going into my 67 shortly. Going to keep things mild until registered, then going to work it somewhat.

Not locked in concrete yet but twin turbo is the plan, a few of my mates who are rice burner owners (one has a 700rwhp FC Rx7 rotary) recommend popping the turbo's further down underneath the engine, closer to the gearbox, then rerouting the pipe work back into the engine bay. Not too sure on this but my friends think its good as it keeps everything substantially cooler. Could only squeeze some tiny turbos down there.

You lads heard of doing such? Havent been able to find too many examples of it with V8's, only smaller engines and they are few and far between...

Would be interesting to see this motor in a classic mustang. Not sure of the dimensions though.

My brothers old Company Car, was a BA Fairmont Ghia. 3V V8.
He put a turbo under the back seat, just a small one.
After he finished with it, and he tuned it, it made 320 rwkw, and ran 11.7, full weight, with stereo, Car Puter etc etc.
