65 Hand brake lever??

I want to keep the original hand brake on my car which will be RHD, so just wondering what others have done to mod the lever on the tranny cross member. From what I can tell I need to make a mirror image of the lever bracket and weld to the other side of the cross member.
Appreciate any ideas.

You put the bracket that hold the lever on the other side then bend the lever the opposite way, If you have a 4 speed make sure the bracket doesn't foul the linkages

Shaun, I get bending the lever, but the bracket has two different length slots, so on the opposite side they will be round the wrong way.

Cut it at the angle and turn it upside down
