Steering box rebuild

You can make one. If you have a set of fishing scales just attach them one inch out from the centre of what you are turning and that will give you inch pounds of force. I tied a bit of wire one inch out along a socket handle and then attached the scales to the wire to set the preload for my diff.

I got mine from Amazon via comgateway (remailer).
It's not the fancy dial one that stangerssite recommends, but it does the job.

Yes, the steering is perfect now.
