Introduction & Brake Sale this week

Post by Charbel »

Hi all,

My name is Charlie (Charbel) from C&M Engineering. I'm new to the forum, I have had some contact with a few members here in the past which has finally lead me to join up.

We are Authorised Distributors for Baer Brakes and starting to get into some Ridetech, but also do other bits of custom machining based in Canberra.

Just wanted to say hello and let everyone know we have a little pre-Christmas sale on some SS4 kits this week while stock lasts. You can check it out at racingcarsales.com.au

https://www.racingcarsales.com.au/parts ... e-kit_i138

Cheers,

Hey Charlie, that's a really good price. What size rotors are they?

Wow, great price - they are 4 pots with 287mm rotors, drilled and slotted....has them on Ebay

I don't need them yet but heck I'm ordering that's way cheap for some nice discs.

Welcome mate. Not ony is Charlie a supplier hes an engineer. No salesman crap here but someone who understands the pros and pitfalls between manufacturers and can develop a Baer kit as appropriate for you if off the shelf kit doesnt 100% cater.

As someone who has dealt with and bought from. Highly recommended. I love my Baer brakes !!

Thanks for the shout out GBX, finally got around to getting online!

The kit uses OE 68-73 287x24mm rotors, with adaptors to use the baer caliper specifically made caliper to suit that thickness rotor. It's a good little upgrade for the street and occasional short stint strip/track use that will fit most of the little wheels.

We have them on Ebay but they are a bit pricier on ebay, we just started using the racingcarsales.com.au site to do our specials as I know the guys starting that site, the ads are free while they are starting out and it helps promote their thing too.

We'll hopefully have some additional 300mm and 320mm kits finished in the new year as upgrades to this kit.

Chux, if you're keen I'll leave my contact details below.

Welcome Charlie.
Good to see you on here. Hopefully the site can help both you and your customers.
We do have an online store here too, but only sell trackers at the moment. Maybe some merchandise one day if I ever get around to it.

Hey Hybrid, I noticed the online shop. Might have a chat to you about how it works at some stage.

Been a while since the last visit to the Ranch Kerry!

Whenever you're ready Husky. We always have the 6Ps in stock and started doing kits with 1-piece rotors instead of 2-piece to help bring the cost particularly for those not chasing every ounce of weight savings.

I have my set in the garage now. Thanks Charlie. They look sweet and looking forward to the point where the front end is allowed to have such nice kit installed!

No worries Chux. Let me know how you go with it once you have it going.

Hoping to do some install videos and back to back testing videos through the Christmas break on our test mule XD Falcon Bash car. Will keep you all posted.
