Yep towy score now up to 3, same problem 3 times, 2 dizzy gear dowel pin shears and gear stripped.
all fixed now and finally got around to fitting the MSD, seems to start and idle alot better, if I get chance in the week I'll try a 750 and 850 double pumper on the dyno to see if that makes any difference, mind you I'm still working on the brakes, still not ready for that first corner after the straight

only got one week left

reckon l might take the car up there next Sunday Neil - will just be for a look see though as I am unsure what the go is, during the day’s activities or if one needed to register et, etc.

is the any other Brisbane guys going - maybe a convoy there could be arranged ?

Took the car for a run to Bribie island today - went well especially now that bloody shudder has been sorted out - after replacing the engine mounts, getting the tail shaft altered and balanced it turned out to be the rear gear box mount.

Happy good to hear the vert is going well,
lakeside is pay on the day no registation required unless you want to compete in the drag racing,
cant remember if it's $10 or $20 to get in, the mustang club has also booked the track for 15mins and the cost is shared between club members
it's usually a good day with some really nice cars,
Usually we meet at lawton at 7.0 - 7.30 so I'll be leaving home around 6am if you want to go early we can meet at Logan motorway, if Tony and Jean from Forestdale are going we could all meet there.
if you go Wed night I'll see you there

Lee, I hope your MSD hold out, I took the 2 barrel off and I now have stripped all the bits off it to put a 4 barrel on I will try my little one first,

I found one of the vaccuum leaks when I stripped the 2B manfold, the little bridging hose on the back Vaccuum tree was cracked. I should end up with better brakes as well.

Do come up Happy its a great day...

Hey Lee, 70coupe is down your way maybe we can wake him up too.

Yep - Monique is happy to make a day of it guys, so we are in - Yahooo !!

Lee - how about we meet at Browns Plains Maca's at 6am - we can then grab a take away coffee (for Monique - to keep her being human) and breaky and head up together.

Or maybe all meet somewhere along the way and hook up with Neil as well

Hi Neil, yeah I have a 160 deg. It's a good 24 inch rad with twin 12 inch elec fans but no shroud. I was told to adapt a BF falcon fan and shroud to it one day.

Not having much luck at the moment, put the new dizzy in on saturday and then sunday the dizzy shaft siezed, but I'm still pushing for sunday, not out of the race yet

Jason, we can take it steady on the way and with it being early start it shouldn't be too hot in the morning, then It's up to you if you take it on the track, and we can always come back together if you're concerned about getting back,
up to you but it's usually a bloody day

Happy, yep Maccas sounds fine
