Here's one for you Hendrix fans, "Little Wing" by one of my bands MATT ROBERTS TRIO live at The Boatshed in Sydney.
We always try and give this song the respect it deserves and Matt rips up the solo's. enjoy!

Thanks!!!

Did not have the hood stripes before. And I think it will look better on the road, than under the house!

No C stripe, GTCS side stripes. Waiting to put those on last after a final buff.

Looking good! Stripes are definitely better on that car.

the transformation is incredible, I think its what fuels the passion for car people, breathing life back into something that might have been lost otherwise. its looking awesome Mert and you've given me a boost. Now I just need to do the front rail and it can get a little bit closer to the above :)

A long hiatus as the "repaint" turned into (typically) far more... rebuilt engine, rebuilt trans, so obviously had to go one step further "while I'm at it"...

Pulled the rear end last night. Tinkered today.

...far from concours, but if anyone sticks their head under the car its going to look OK. Just need to let the red oxide dry a day or three and will mask and hit the machined surfaces with VHT cast iron (kinda a sparkly silvery that will look reasonable...)

Decided against replicating any factory marks. Get the axles in to the shop for new bearings Monday and hopefully have it back in the car next weekend...

I think it looks a bit better than it did this morning!

Pull the other one, now show us the photo of the rubbish pile out the back. Sure the old rear end is lying on it.

2 cans of degreaser, pressure washer, a few different sized wire wheels, wax and grease remover, 3 cans of spray paint (SG black, red oxide, cast iron), masking tape and some elbow grease... started at 9, done about 4....

I did cheat a little and used a set of nuts and copper washers I had lying about!
