You should be able to use the other components. Later alternators can be a little larger which can be a minor problem where some clearing is needed. You can change the pulleys if required - I guess it is up to the brackets. I know it all late accessories fits if you throw it all in engine and all as one unit.

so power steering pump will mate up to the old style ram no pressure issues id because id rather use it all as a package

Ram and power box is similar pressures while racks are generally lower pressure.
In your case if the pump is a lower pressure unit you just do not get as much help.

got me an engine so
if taking the serpentine belts off to go with my v belt alt and power steering, do I need to change the timing cover and pump or just the timing cover

2nd question will the brackets and pulley of the clevo work on the Windsor
3rd it has a forward hump sump will I need to change it and the oil pickup

V Belt.
1) Timing cover should not need to be changed.
2) Will need to change the water pump as the serpentine was a reverse direction pump.
3) Clevo brackets I would expect not to work (though I have not personally tried it).
4) Early Mustangs use the front sump. If you find you need one I have one in my garage of parts (with a pickup). It is in good condition.

You will also now need an electric fuel pump as the timing cover has no hole and cam no excentric.

Dpends on the type of pump and fuel delivery. If your going EFI rather than bolting a carbi and manifold on her (which I can also help with), at a minimum you will need a High pressure pump and a return line. If going carbi the return line is optional - depends on the low pressure pump design. Most do not need a return line. Some need a remote pressure regulator mounted near the carbi (aka in the engine bay).

LOOKING at low pressure fuel pumps around 6-9 psi is that enough pressure

for carb yes, for EFI no. You need 60+ PSI for EFI.
