They look spot-on whitewun. What size wheels and tires?

Wheels are 16" x 8" Performance mini lites.
even though the factory has closed down - new wheels can still be obtained.
check out Gumtree / wheels / south australia/ marion area.

Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ( 245 / 50 / 16 )
I have been told that this specific tyre is not available in Aust
I purchased these from the Tyre Rack in the US and had them loaded into the car and shipped over - this was when the aussie dollar was $1.10 not .73

it is a good handling package all around

cheers

Thanks guys - the T/A look is what I am chasing

If you really want some very very nice wheels check out
CCW wheels web site
2 and 3 piece rims - all diameters, rim widths and offsets
I can vouch for the quality as my pony had them fitted when I imported it.
reason I removed them - 17" x 9" fronts and 17" x 10" rears
caused all sorts of engineering issues.

Be warned they are not cheap - around the A$1000 per rim

Looks great whitewun.

I haven't been a huge fan of the smaller diameter mini lites, but they do look good in 16"!

Just had another look at the pics now I'm back at my PC. I tell you that is one of the best looking wheel/tyre combo's I've seen... so perfect for the car and the look you want. Your research and effort to get it right has really paid off. Well done.

Thanks for that. I can take the credit for the wheels based on old memories of the Coke mustang. The tyres were picked based on the size ( rolling diameter etc ) and value for money.

The credit for the stance belongs to Nuts - he did all the work on my car to get it passed engineering - including springs etc
