Rear seat bolts

Post by 66STNG »

Hi, guys,
I need to know what bolts are used to retain the rear seat. They must have washers on them as the securing points are quite large.
66 coupe.

Somehow I read seatbelt bolts? You mean the self tappers that secure the bottom of the seat!!

Yes and a couple of 6mm hex self tappers with a gutter washer on each will do. Bunnings have them

Punch the hole with an awl (sharpened screwdriver) if there is none, don't drill it. That will allow the self tapping screw to tighten.

I worked a Bunnings sausage sizzle for Lifeline in April. Not a word was said about that.

I thought the sauce was more dangerous .......
