It hurt saying it boys but I was trying to legimately help a fellow Mustangtecher so I feel like you can all cut me some slack.

Re: Total Control Products...ADR approved?
Thanks for the tip.
Another member had previously advised me there was some unfortunate politics between the two mustang sites. Can't escape politics anywhere nowadays I suppose, but I'm grateful that information on this forum still flows freely.
My thanks : )

Re: Total Control Products...ADR approved?
Cages help was great as usual. We are an open forum. The banning comment was an on going joke because they ban people if they mention our web site. We do not. In fact they edit the messages if you put in a link to our forum on MOCA forum. This includes PMs. The administrators and management of the forum obviously feels threatened by this forum though in my view should not be worried. I guess it boils down to it being a commercial concern for the management team there. I might get banned now as they do read our forum. We will see. Their loss if they do.shan75 wrote:Thanks for the tip.

I will someday think of something clever to say.
Re: Total Control Products...ADR approved?
I could not agree with you more. I did sense the political commentary was poking a little fun. That is a real shame the other site has let things go that far.
I can appreciate commercial concerns (and likely there is more to the story), but yeah - I think that unfortunately their actions over the longer term - will not result positively. Definitely counterproductive.
Grateful for the advice as always.
I post more about the topic of engineers and coilover ADR compliance when get info.
Cheers.

Shanan surely you have some photos of the beast. Post them up as we love pics.

Re: Total Control Products...ADR approved?
Hi Cage,
Yeah - fair point.
The inspection service I used in Arizona posted some photos (as well as the basic inspection report) online.
It can be found here:
http://phoenixcarinspection.com/1967-ford-mustang-gta/
She is not perfect by any means, rear engine seal is leaking a little and there is some surface rust in the floors I don't like the look of, plus some other bits inspector and I discussed on the phone - but overall the car is pretty decent.
No doubt I will find some hidden nasties (always do), but I feel the car is honest enough. Was put on a hoist for inspection and I had the paint thickness tested on all the panels - so if they were hiding something - they have done a good job of it.
Marti report was also provided - I'll see if I can upload it.
1967 GTA, S Code with some nice factory selections.

Well she looks pretty good overall. Definitely a good start. Interior looks nice, paint looks nice, let's just hope under that paint is good as well but I have certainly seen a lot worst.
Depends on how much you are paying for it obviously but

I wouldn't worry about those floors. They will clean up fine.

Looks very nice.

Re: Total Control Products...ADR approved?
I think you will be quite happy with that.
Re: Total Control Products...ADR approved?
Thanks guys. Yeah - I am pretty happy (so far).
Obviously a little worried at the same time - thinking I might have missed something on it. I hate that I did not see it in person. Bit of a gamble, but did all I could to ensure it is solid. Never bought a car before without looking at it in the flesh.
Price I paid was fair for a 67 GTA S Code (not exactly cheap to buy these now....as we all know), but given the inspection went well and I eyeballed the receipts for about $13K USA in the TCP gear and Wilwoods alone - I think I did ok out of it.
Older resto on it (back in 2008 in think), but appears to have held up ok.
Time will tell....

Here is the marti report.
Is different colour to what it left the factory in.....I am ok with that though.
I'll update on engineer stuff when I know more.
Cheers.
