Re: Vale Mark Dixon

Thanks, Moe and Kerry for passing on the news of Mark's death. Mark had a stroke back in 2019 and lost the use of the left side of his body. He then decided to cut himself off from the outside world for the last few years in a nursing home. As long as I filled his fridge with beer and drinks each vi...

Re: Re: Now for something completely different. Mark's "Hulk"

Sorry Ian, no visitors at the moment due to virus cases in the ACT. The poor guy has not caught a break since the stroke, restrictions on visits has meant only one a day from me, then complete lock down. Just when he was well enough to visit home the restrictions started that day so no outside leave...

Re: Re: Now for something completely different. Mark's "Hulk"

Mrs Mark here, just thought I better give an update on the car. It sits in the side garage awaiting the next cashed up person (idiot) who wishes to waste money on it to enter the picture. Mark had a stroke back in November last year and lost the use of his left arm, hand and leg. After 6 months of r...

Re: What's this off - Part Identification

OK, I'm sorry, may be you're not on drugs. You're just fekkin' blind !! Compare the first image that started this argument with the large image. If you think they are identical, then you ARE on drugs.

The giveaway is the dent for the dizzy. :moon:

You're all on drugs. Wrong snout for a 390 and wrong colour. I'm suspecting 1971 302.

Re: Parts Import

I gave up on finding old suckers so went to Speciality Fasteners and found out they were 5/8 UNC. I darned near choked when the counter guy told me they $8 each. I reluctantly paid, so that's one more box ticked.

Re: Parts Import

I have no idea what size they are, except all my old spares are either way too small or the wrong thread.

Re: Parts Import

No offence taken nassi, you have a keen eye. And for you Kerry, thoroughbreds always hold their shape even after years of banging. Now get back to work on my 'cuda, and while you're at it, find the 4 castleated nuts from the strut rods. We've looked everywhere and can't find one. Did you eat them ? ...

Re: Repro Door Hinges Yes or No? And Question re Torque boxes

When I owned Capital Classics we sold quite a few repop door hinges. Never had any issues with them.

When is Kerry due back in town ?
