Re: Magna flow 2.5" exhaust

+1 for getting Pete to do the exhaust. Not worth the hassle of buying from the US and fitting.

Re: Turn Signals / Reverse Lights

I did it to mine, of the top of my head I did the following items: 1 - Splice into the indicator wires under the dash and wire to rear backup lights & change globes/lenses 2 - Drill new holes in the light buckets and wire in new globe fitting i.e one for park, one for stop. I just used a lower w...

Re: Fatkid clone pt 2 - The young kid clone - 65' GT 350

Wanted the interior to be as high quality as possible so spent a fair amount of time prepping it. Cut most of the rust out of the rear firewall, re-did all the mounting brackets and drilled new holes for the trim to ensure a good fit Before http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii167/sharrack/65%20GT%2...

Re: thermo fans

If there isn't a port to run a temp sender and temp transmitter for the thermo fans, an adjustable voltage switch can be used with parellel feed from the temp sender. Bolec do one.

Thanks guys, can't wipe the smile of my face. New rims are on route from the states. Hoping they arrive by the time I make it back from work!!

For something different and unique I went a polished version of the American Racing Salt Flat Special 15s

Re: Fatkid clone pt 2 - The young kid clone - 65' GT 350

All stories need an end, and finally the one that started off in a Florida backyard with our mate Shermatt has come to an end. After way too many holidays, other priorities and fussing I finally have rego complete and the fastback on the road. Highly recommend the guys down at Warrick (for WA people...

Re: Toploader output shaft seal leak

Thanks guys, seal got changed. Started out carefully, then got the bigger hammer.

Covs were no good, but with dimensions in hand a bearing/seal shop sorted me out.

Toploader output shaft seal leak

Have a leaky rear output shaft seal on a 4spd toploader and can't source a seal to suit. Anyone help point me in the right direction for a part number or supplier? Gearbox is an early mustang one, 25 spline output (HEH-P) http://www.davidkeetoploaders.com/idchart1.htm Tried a 402918N and 402965P sea...

Re: Pick me some rims

Scott - any size really, just depends on the rim/tyre size combo to get the right look. Maybe 17x7 like yours, though defintley open to other sizes.

Rick will defintley be interested if I don't go another style. Are yours polished/ainted centers?

Cheers,
Shane

Pick me some rims

Time has come to buy rims and finally get the ex Fatkid clone on the road. Being away at work is tough sometimes...eased by internet shopping for man things. The more I look for rims, the harder it is to choose which ones will suit. So please chuck some suggestions out and hopefully Foresight can us...
