Re: Edz 66 Convertible
I'm running gen1 MSD Atomic and they say to set it at 14.7 (Stoich) for cruising? I can set/adjust: - A/F Targets (forgot I could change these - I'll have a play) - Idle speed - Cam type - Timing Control (if I had an Ignition Control Module) - Rev Limit - Engine Displacement - Fuel Pump Type - Idle...

Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
They should be fine after being modified locally.
I already had to send another set of headers back to the states, so bringing another set over was absolutely bottom of my list of options.

Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Headers are off and gone to an exhaust shop for more mods. They would not clear power steering even with a drop down bracket and I'm getting the collectors moved out a bit further for some more gearbox clearance. I contacted JBA and they said that these headers were meant for manual cars ONLY. So le...

Re: Sealant / adhesive recommendations
This is the stuff I was thinking about. It's probably not what you need. I'm supposed to be spraying this under the front guards to prevent dents from stones coming off the tyres. https://eshop.wurth.com.au/Product-categories/Gravel-guard-and-corrosion-protection-AQUA/31023006150303.cyid/3102.cgid/e...

Re: Edz 66 Convertible
13-14 is too rich for cruise IMO. Light throttle cruise you want to throw timing at it and lean it off. 15 should be safe on light throttle cruise and will improve your mileage (if you care). 12 is also conservative for a N/A engine on load. You'd be fine at 12.5 I completely agree that the "se...

Finished (I think) exhaust. https://i.postimg.cc/YSwHLwnL/IMG-20231022-WA0000.jpg Decided on an angle for the tips rather than straight. https://i.postimg.cc/3JcpTtLc/IMG20231022140910.jpg And my latest header nightmare https://i.postimg.cc/dtYdt7v8/IMG-20231022-WA0005.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/HsNg9...

Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
The headers don't work with an AOD. It's way wider around the pan area than a C4 and the headers angle inwards and hit everything. I've spent weeks (of weekends) modifying things (including the collectors) to make it work. Last night was the shifter linkage that no longer fits, so had to fabricate a...

Re: Sealant / adhesive recommendations
I'm not sure what normally sets it, but have you tried giving it a nudge with some heat from a hair drier or heat gun? I've still got a bottle of some stuff here that Ozbilt gave me years ago and still haven't used, but I'm guessing it's probably one of the ones you have already tried. It needs a sp...

Engine is back in, but I don't want to talk about it. https://i.postimg.cc/vZkVFxg7/IMG20230930112624.jpg The JBA 1 3/4" headers fit pretty decent, but I'm not sure I would want to fit them without adjustable engine mounts allowing you to move the engine from side to side. https://i.postimg.cc/...

Yeah ford generally used a standard resistance for most of their sensors.
